Honors Thesis: Emerson College
A requirement for completing the Emerson College Honors Program is to write a 50-60 page thesis paper on a topic of your choosing. My thesis addresses my own fascination with horror films, looking to understand the beneficial nature of watching horror. I specifically address my own history in ballet, drawing connections between the rigidity of ballet and the release found in horror films. I really enjoyed putting this piece together and it serves as a culmination of my academic endeavors thus far.

Freshman Thesis: Emerson College
As a capstone project for my freshman year honor’s course, I wrote a 30 page thesis paper exploring Apocalyptic media and the origin of apocalyptic predictions. Similar to my senior thesis, I utilize specific case studies from a variety of different “types” of apocalypse, weaving together a central thesis claim about the benefit of producing apocalyptic media. If you would like to read it, download below! I promise it’s a fun time.
